The hotel is very quietly located, on a cobbled street leading to the castle. The interior uniquely blends classic modern design with this historic building, providing for an inviting atmosphere of relaxed elegance. The next tram station is just 300 metres down the hill, the next metro station is 600 metres and the next bus stop is 1 km away.
The Golden Wheel hotel is situated on Nerudova street, named after the famous Czech writer who lived in this street. The Hotel is just a few steps from Prague Castle, on the cobbled road leading from Old Town Square across Charles Bridge to Prague Castle. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1541. Only the floors and the well still date from the 14th century. The painter Dittmann rebuilt the house in the 17th cenury. In 2003 it was completely reconstructed and transformed into this charming boutique hotel.
